Young Africa is an organization that has established training centers in different developing countries. It was founded in the 1990s by a Dutch woman and an Indian in Zimbabwe and focuses on providing vocational training for young people. We were able to learn a great deal from their very successful concept of how to set up a training centre in Zimbabwe, during a four-day training course. There is hardly any system of apprenticeships in the country, which is why it is so important to enable young people to learn a trade so that they can build their own business and earn their living.
